The Chronograph from the Rado HyperChrome collection
When you’re in the market for a Rado HyperChrome Chronograph, there are two options. You can either get your hands on an automatic movement (ETA 2894) with the high-tech monobloc ceramic case or the stainless-steel case with a quartz-movement. Automatic movements feature the 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter and small seconds dial at 9, 6 and 3 o’clock while the quartz powered movement features the small seconds dial at 6 o’clock.
The quartz movements are less expensive compared to the automatic movements, starting at around €1.100, while a pre-owned Rado HyperChrome Chronograph Automatic will set you back €1.800 on Wristler. The new or never worn models are €1.000 more expensive.
