This is a very interesting and special watch that dates to the 1980s by Gerald Genta (read our article on him here), as you might know Genta designed not only the big guns (the Royal Oak and Nautilus) but also these very cool shaped so called “Success“ watches. Featuring a distinctive rounded octagon case, a nod to Genta's love of this form. This watch measures 33mm across, with setting pushers, vendome style lugs discreetly placed on the side of the case, emphasizing its sleek design. It displays four subdials: three dedicated to the day and calendar functions and one at the 12 o’clock position showcasing the moon-phase, while the 6 o’clock sub dial shows a second time zone. All set against a non-luminous cream white dial with matching hands. The calendar is in Italian and the crown has a beautiful black cabochon . This one comes on a nice Bulang and Sons strap with an 18 k yellow gold Genta buckle.The automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
