We are delighted to be offering this amazing Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic 1958, a tribute to the original 1958 model, crafted in stunning rose gold and limited to just 300 pieces. The original Geophysic was first of all This limited edition for the 125 th anniversary of JLC and second was the world’s first "International Geophysical Year."This was an effort put forth and supported by different nations to encourage scientific exploration and experimentation in the fields related to geophysics, such as , radioactivity ,seismology, electromagnetism , and solar activity. These watches were sturdy and extremely precise ; as the watches were used in extreme conditions ( as for example in extreme electro magnetism laboratories and even on the first nuclear submarine !) offers a perfect blend of historical details in a contemporary luxury watch that we know you’ll all love! The 38.5mm rose gold case remains in outstanding condition. The watch houses a white dial, with Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 with stick markers and a simple minute track and striking sword hands. A cool detail is the lume plots on the rehaut, mirroring the design of the 1950s original. Ofcourse this has also the anti-magnetic cage as the original had . This watch comes with a lightly used JLC strap and an 18k rose gold pin buckle, presented in a substantial inner and outer box that includes a beautifully crafted JLC loupe inside. An envelope containing the booklet and the original guarantee certificate, which confirms a sale in Germany in 2015, accompanies this watch.
