Extremely rare Double Red MK2 - ROLEX SEA DWELLER Chronometer in Steel | Reference 1665 - Serial 2.93 Million - thus one of the last "Thin Case" 1665 from the third Batch | the Case is in very good Condition with a lot of Material - it has certainly been polished once, but by an Expert | the Caseback (some Watchmaker's Marks) is a so-called "mismatched caseback", i.e. an original 1665 DRSD Caseback from IV67, but the three Digits do not match the last three of the Serial Number, unfortunately this happened more often in the past during a Service if there were several Watch / Caseback on the Workbench, at that Time, unfortunately, today's attention was not paid - so the Hunt for the Caseback can begin with the three correct final Digits ... | Oyster Bracelet Reference 9315 with 285 Endlinks - Clasp 4/69 - the Bracelet Extension is engraved with "Patent Pending" | Dial: Indices and Hands with a beautiful, even color shade - the Dial has a wonderful brown tint depending on the incidence of Light - a great Charisma | Bezel rotatable with 60 Minute Graduation | overall a very nice Condition | enclosed 1665 Carton with Boardbox - Booklet - Hangtag - punched Chronometer & Guarantee Certificate (sold in April 1974 in the Bahamas) - Guarantee Translation (both Documents stamped the same) - Calendar. A Thincase 1665 is generally very rare, as a Full Set like this it is almost never offered. More Photos on request!
