On offer is this “old-school” and very rare Breitling Blackbird Special Edition (red text dial). It houses Breitling’s bullet-proof Calibre 13 movement. This is a superbly built and well finished watch (true Breitling old-school style). It’s the perfect balance of size/weight at a modest 39mm.

The watch is presented with its original full set of boxes, booklets, warranty booklet (stamped and dated 04/1999), booklets holder and even bezel protector. Bracelet is sized to an 18cm wrist (+ 1 spare link). It has been serviced 3 times since new (the last being in late 2019).

Timing figures are exceptional, indicating the mechanism is in top condition: Amplitude is over 300º in horizontal positions and over 270º in vertical positions. Daily rate is 0 to +5s/day in all positions with 0.0mS beat error. Power reserve is well over 50 hours.

The watch is in fantastic condition with just a few light marks from careful use. It’s just been fully valeted and only bracelet has been lightly refinished to bring it back to "as new" condition as possible, it looks absolutely stunning!

This watch is of course 100% genuine all round and operates perfectly in every way (auto/manual winding, auto/manual date change, chronograph, power reserve, time setting, accuracy, etc).

This is a great opportunity to own a classic “old-school” Breitling sports Chronograph with its full original set of boxes/documents and all in excellent condition. It’s very difficult to find something like this.
