The “Tank Basculante” model is specially made for sports such as polo, tennis and golf.
The watch can be reversed in the case to protect the bezel and watch glass during exercise.
The basculante complication was patented in 1932 by Cartier.
At the time, it was the only luxury watch that could compete with Jaeger-Lecoultre's Reverso.

General condition: The watch is in very neat condition. The cabinet has very light signs of wear. Movement has been checked and found to be accurate. Dial & hands are in perfect condition. The basculante function is a real conversation starter!
