A beautiful Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 dating from 1973, crafted in solid 18k yellow gold and presented with a champagne dial and diamond-set white gold bezel. One of Rolex’s most recognizable vintage designs, the Ref. 1803 remains a quintessential expression of the classic Day-Date.
The 36 mm solid 18k yellow gold case remains in great condition and carries a 3.4 million serial number, dating its production to 1973. The watch retains its original Rolex yellow gold screw-down crown and is fitted with a beautifully clear, spotless plexiglass crystal.
Its classic champagne dial pairs naturally with the warmth of the yellow gold case, while the diamond-set white gold bezel adds a more luxurious and jewelry-inspired appearance. For complete transparency, the diamond bezel is not a factory Rolex bezel.
Inside beats a Rolex automatic movement, freshly serviced and running excellent.
The watch is fitted with a handmade Belgian black leather strap and a generic pin buckle, giving the full-gold Day-Date a refined and understated appearance on the wrist.
