Offered for sale is a beautiful Cartier Santos Galbée, dating from 2010, presented in NOS (New Old Stock) / unworn condition and accompanied by its original Cartier box and papers.
The Santos Galbée is instantly recognizable by its elegant curved case, integrated bracelet and signature exposed screws. This example has remained unworn since 2010, making it a particularly interesting piece for collectors looking for a time capsule from the period.
Depending on the exact reference, the 2010 Santos Galbée was offered with different movements. The movement automatic Galbée references used the Cartier Calibre 049. Size is round 36mm diameter.
Fun Fact:
The name “Galbée” refers to the distinctive curved shape of the case and bracelet, designed to follow the contours of the wrist. This curved construction is one of the details that gives the Santos Galbée its characteristic vintage Cartier presence.
