H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel 6500-1200 is one of the most fascinating versions of the Streamliner. Its stainless-steel case, integrated bracelet and spectacular Aqua Blue fumé Grand Feu enamel dial create a configuration that is genuinely impressive in person.
The dial is undoubtedly the main attraction. Moser uses a textured gold base with a hammered appearance and applies three different enamel pigments. The result is a deep blue fumé effect that changes dramatically depending on the surrounding light.
You can easily spend a long time simply looking at this dial. It moves from vivid aqua tones to much darker shades, while the absence of a logo allows the enamel itself to remain the absolute focus.
Small seconds are positioned at 6 o’clock. The lacquered subdial features a snailed finish, creating a subtle contrast while maintaining the minimalist character of the watch.
The steel case measures 39 mm in diameter and approximately 10.9 mm in thickness. These proportions make the Streamliner surprisingly slim and comfortable for a sports watch with an integrated bracelet.
Inside beats the manufacture HMC 500. It is H. Moser & Cie.’s first automatic movement to use a platinum micro-rotor and provides approximately 74 hours of power reserve. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour.
The partially open movement architecture can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. The micro-rotor also helps keep the calibre compact, allowing the entire watch to retain its exceptionally slim profile.
H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel 6500-1200 is, in my opinion, one of those watches that has to be seen in person. Photographs capture the colour, but not the way the enamel constantly changes under different lighting.
This example dates from 2025 and was originally delivered in Germany.
It comes complete with all original H. Moser & Cie. boxes and documents.
