ROLEX 1804 Platin 1973 Platinium Day Date with factory stone setting. Rolex Day-Date 1804 in the highly rare platinum version, featuring a stunning blue dial. The dial is a so-called „Big Diamond Dial“ — originally produced by Rolex and reserved exclusively for the platinum version. White gold Rolex 1804 models featured dials with smaller diamonds. The platinum variant of the Rolex 1804 is extremely rare and simply gorgeous with this metallic blue dial. The diamond bezel, which is also original Rolex, has a minimal dent at 1 o’clock, but is otherwise in flawless condition. We currently have another platinum 1804 in our inventory with a serial number just two digits away from this one; both fall perfectly into the serial number range for watches produced in 1973. The platinum bracelet has a total of 23 links and is in very good condition with moderate stretch. The watch runs with an amplitude of 280 degrees and keeps time within COSC/chronometer standard specifications.
