The Rolex Air-King ref. 5500, produced from 1957 to 1989, is often regarded as one of the most straightforward vintage Rolex models available. With its simple design—no flashy bezel, complications, or special features—it remains a true embodiment of Rolex’s minimalist approach to watchmaking. We love the font used on these refs, very untypical Rolex! This example remains in really great condition, with a strong case and bezel. The classic Silver dial is super cool , with a matte finish and rare aplied Arabic numerlas, no lume and and dauphine hands fitted . This Air-King has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and is fitted with a lovely Bulang and sons leather strap. - Clearly visible signs of wear, including scratches, dents, or noticeable bracelet or clasp wear. Servicing may be recommended in the future. Fully functional unless otherwise stated.
