For many years, fans of Tudor and specifically of the GMT line waited for a smaller, thinner, and probably better GMT – and finally the brand listened and presented this long-awaited watch. All of this instantly made it sought-after and desired not only by fans of the brand, but by collectors in general.
One of the possible reasons for this lies in the fact that the model represents Tudor's answer to the super popular and sought-after GMT of its "big brother" Rolex – the so-called Pepsi. This is precisely where the two-tone bezel in the characteristic blue-red combination, the GMT function, and the similar-feeling case size come from.
The sporty spirit of the model complements the heritage it carries – starting with the ribbed and oversized crown, moving through the design of the dial and the two-tone bidirectional bezel, and finishing with the comfortable three-link Oyster-type bracelet – all of this clearly suggests that this watch is no accident, and its kinship with the Rolex GMT models is evident in many of the details.
In its heart beats the in-house movement MT5450-U – with a 65-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations. What distinguishes it further is the fact that it is now Master Chronometer certified by METAS – a guarantee not only of accuracy, but also of high resistance to magnetic fields and stability under real-world conditions of use.
