No other brand, except perhaps Rolex and Audemars Piguet, has such a loyal and constantly growing fanbase as that of Panerai's followers. The reason for this trend probably lies in the fact that this cult Italian brand enjoys an excellent reputation, offering high quality and a unique design. Another significant reason is the fact that, founded in 1860 in Florence, Panerai was chosen as the official supplier to the Italian Navy as early as the beginning of the last century. Last but not least, the unmistakably recognizable case design also plays a key role in the brand's appeal.
Currently, Panerai offers four main collections: Historic, Contemporary, Manufacture and, of course, Special Editions. An interesting fact is that most models are produced in limited annual series of about 500 pieces and bear an individual number on the case back.

The model was first introduced in 2010 under the official name LUMINOR 1950 3 DAYS AUTOMATIC ACCIAIO (PAM00312) and is one of the brand's first contemporary models to use in-house calibers. This particular model is built on the basis of the revolutionary in-house P.9000 movement.
This is one of the timepieces that can easily be placed among the most versatile models – at least in our opinion. As for the case shape, few manufacturers today offer such a convenient and comfortable construction for various situations as Panerai does.
In our opinion, if someone is looking for a Panerai that is distinctive, in the most popular 44 mm size, excellently crafted with a fully in-house movement, and insists on the brand's classic style with the crown protector – then the PAM00312 is one of the best choices. The watch is sufficiently massive at 44 mm, but at the same time retains its elegance thanks to the combination of polished and brushed steel, as well as the ability to be paired with a variety of leather straps.
This model is extremely comfortable, mainly thanks to its flat shape and ergonomically curved vintage lugs, which fit snugly on the wrist and ensure wearing comfort.
