As listings have become quite verbose lately, we will try to be more concise this time – although the timepiece certainly deserves much more attention.
First, the brand – one of the founders of Swiss horological art, one of the few that produce their own calibers, and certainly with its own style and recognizable presence.
The Laureato series itself follows the other "greats" and is to GP what the Master Calendar is to Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Overseas to Vacheron Constantin, and the Royal Oak to Audemars Piguet. The classic line began its life in 1975, and the name was suggested by an Italian distributor and literally means "the graduate" – due to the tradition of many Italian families gifting this model to their graduating children.
The model presented today began its "career" in 2016 and is part of the celebrations for the brand's 225th anniversary (few active manufacturers can boast such a history). Everything in this watch demonstrates precision and attention to detail – the dial is well-thought-out, the proportions are excellent, and every element is in its right place.
The case is in the contemporary dimensions of 42 mm (and about 49 mm "lug-to-lug"), the dial is protected by a high-quality sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and the feeling is that the crystal is almost absent and you can touch the dial. The bracelet is steel, integrated into the case, and the clasp is a "butterfly" type, which contributes to the wearing comfort.
As is well known, GP is one of the few brands that not only produce movements for their own models but also supply them to other renowned Swiss manufacturers. Powering all functions here is the in-house caliber Girard-Perregaux GP03300-0030 – an automatic movement with 218 components, 27 jewels, a power reserve of 46 hours, and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The precise finishing is at the traditionally high level for the brand and can be observed through the transparent case back.

- Clearly visible signs of wear, including scratches, dents, or noticeable bracelet or clasp wear. Servicing may be recommended in the future. Fully functional unless otherwise stated.
