Despite all its modern design innovations in this model, from every angle it is a purebred Constellation. We are reminded of this when we see the traditional 'applied' logo on the dial, the star of the series, the iconic bezel with Roman numerals, the traditional hands, and the milky-white color of the dial. With the launch of this version, the manufacturer aims to capture a portion of the clientele from higher-end brands.
The silvery-white dial offers excellent contrast thanks to the applied polished indices and diamond-polished hands – the date window is positioned at '6:00', the faceted hands are skeletonized – this fact gives the watch a stern, yet at the same time elegant appearance. One of the things that is almost impossible to show in its full beauty in photographs (at least not within our power and skills) are the different dimensions of the dial.
The placement of a transparent case back allows you to enjoy the beautifully decorated Omega movement, which deserves separate attention – the latest Co-Axial from Omega – 8802 operating at a frequency unusual for other movements of 25,200 vibrations (3.5 Hz), with a power reserve of over 55 hours and 35 jewels. The brand's Nivachoc anti-shock system, anti-magnetic up to 15000 Gauss, etc., etc. – all this allows Omega to call movements of this generation Master Chronometer and to successfully pass certification by Metas.
The strap is grey with an alligator leather exterior and a calfskin interior with a deployment clasp – clean and of very high quality.
