The Grande Class collection was first presented at Baselworld 2005 and includes models that have become iconic and sought-after: Open, Traveller Multicity, Grande date, and the Elite presented today. All the brand's expertise in terms of technology, design, and aesthetics is integrated into these creations, which deservedly occupy the place of the flagship series in the brand's product range at that time. The presented model will surely become a classic for several main reasons. First, because it carries the tradition of Zenith, this is an indisputable fact – classic clean lines, the unique movement, and the noble combination of only two colors – black and silver, make this watch a true ambassador of the famous brand. The second reason is the name – inevitably, a watch from this brand with such a name, “Grande Class,” automatically becomes desired by every collector and admirer of Zenith. The third is the size – 44 mm is the most comfortable size for an elegant watch – it is neither large, nor is it small. And last but not least – in its heart beats the phenomenal El Primero – a movement that can boldly be considered an achievement not only of the brand, but of watchmaking in general! The impression this watch creates is unique! What presence, what balance and combination – this watch creates a perception that is difficult to convey with words when on the wrist, due to its elegant design and a slight hint of aristocracy. The combination of a steel bracelet and case, and a black dial allows for both daily wear and use as a “dress” watch combined with formal attire. Beneath the aristocratically presented black dial lies the brand's cult movement 4010 – COSC certified with over 50 hours of power reserve, operating at 36000 vibrations (or 5 hertz frequency), with 306 components and 31 jewels. The two windows, showing the two digits of the date, are located at “6 o’clock”, the subdials are in classic positions – at “3 o’clock” and at “9 o’clock”, and the Zenith logo is proudly positioned at “12 o’clock”. A sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating covers the dial and seals the case, which has dimensions of 44 mm by 14.5 mm in thickness, and the sapphire-covered transparent case back provides an opportunity to enjoy the operation of this magnificent movement.
