The timepieces from the “Admiral’s cup” collection have been sailing the oceans for more than 50 years, while those from the “Bridge” collection have left their mark on the entire history of haute horlogerie over the last 35 years.
We present to you the Corum Heritage 50 LIRE Vulcano – a timepiece with an exceptionally interesting and provocative design. It is part of the Heritage series and, more specifically, of the part dedicated to famous European coins. This particular one is dedicated to perhaps the most popular Italian 50-lire coin depicting the god "Vulcan" – last issued by the Italian State Mint in 1989 after a glorious history of almost 50 years – this coin was the most widely used in Italy in the period before the adoption of the Euro. The dial itself features this very coin, which is crafted in the dimensions of the original prototype by the Italian State Mint and, to guarantee its authenticity, is engraved with the logo and the letter R, which identifies the mint in Rome where the coin was made.
And to give the offering a certain dose of exclusivity, Corum released it in a strictly limited series of only 699 pieces.
Under the transparent case back, we can find what the brand calls the Corum Calibre CO082, which houses the ETA 2892-A2 used in many brands and models – COSC certified, with a 42-hour power reserve, 21 jewels, and an incredible feeling from its operation on your wrist.
