Each of the established watch manufacturers has at least one line, which has the honor of presenting the classic dress designs of the brand. For Blancpain, this honor falls to the Villeret series – it is here that the most refined models can be found, with classic designs and an elegant presence. The presented model meets all these criteria – the Villeret Ultraplate Rose Gold, presented at Baselworld in 2019, worthily follows all the canons of the brand and presents the classic designs in a new interpretation.

The dial is a so-called Opaline with applied elegant Roman numerals in rose gold and elegant gold hands in the so-called Breguet style. The case has a classic shape, crafted from 18-carat rose gold, and has the elegant dimensions of 40 mm by only 8.55 mm in height! The case back is solid, bears the model's inscription Blancpain Villeret and unfortunately hides the opportunity to enjoy the workings of the mechanical heart of this work of horological art. And inside the watch beats the in-house Blancpain Calibre 11C5 – an in-house manual winding movement, with a 100-hour power reserve, a thickness of only 3.3 mm, (not for nothing is it named “ultraplate”) it is composed of 211 components and 23 jewels, and its appearance is truly impressive – with a rhodium coating and a Côtes de Genève finish.

Undoubtedly, the Blancpain Villeret is made to earn a fitting place among the ranks of the brand's legendary models, just as there is no doubt that this timepiece is a worthy representative for any collection.
