Deze kleurgradatie geeft het horloge een verbluffende visuele diepte en maakt het direct herkenbaar binnen de Deepsea-familie. Rolex heeft deze Deepsea uitgerust met een unidirectionele Cerachrom duikbezel, een heliumgasventiel voor verzadigingsduiken en een robuuste Oyster-bracelet met Glidelock-sluiting voor eenvoudige aanpassing, zelfs over duikpakken.
