Jaeger Le-Coultre or JLC is one of those brands that are extremely highly valued by watch enthusiasts for its innovation and reliability. One of their most popular designs is the Reverso, which in its long history from 1930 to the present day, has enjoyed unceasing interest and has become one of the icons of luxury watchmaking. It is an extremely interesting fact that the Reverso was inspired by the Art Deco style and was originally created specifically for polo players.
The brand's other popular watches are those from the Master Compressor series – it brings together the brand's sportier models, which with their size, durability, and attractiveness attract more and more admirers among watch enthusiasts in general. And of course, last but not least is the Master Control series – and it is precisely a representative of this series that I have the pleasure of presenting today – the Master Control Ultra Thin 36 Moon.
First introduced in 2015, the model immediately found its place among the brand's distinctly dress models and is still offered today.
This timepiece undoubtedly ranks among the most interesting representatives of dress watches in general for several reasons. First, it is a product of the renowned “manufacture of manufactures”; second, its size, classic shape, weight, and thickness are a very elegant combination; and of course, last but not least, the functionality it offers. Undoubtedly, this is one of the right choices for people who prefer an elegant style of dress – this watch can be a good companion both at a formal event where it will be a very good complement to a tuxedo, and to accompany you during a weekend trip.
With its 36 mm diameter and only 9.3 mm height, the watch is very elegant, discreet, yet at the same time, it is hard for it to go unnoticed on your wrist.
Inside the watch “beats the heart” of the JLC Calibre 925 – this mechanical work of art includes 245 parts and 30 jewels and operates at 28800 VpH and has a 70-hour reserve. Like every movement from the brand, this movement has also passed the “Jaeger-LeCoultre 1000 Hour Master Control” test before being certified and approved for use.
