Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747–1823) established the Breguet brand in Paris, serving royalty and gaining renown for innovations such as the tourbillon (1801). He is widely considered one of the most important and influential figures in the history of watchmaking. This time-only reference 5130 is a quintessential dress watch, embodying timeless elegance. It features an ultra-thin 35.5 mm coin edge case with simple straight lugs and a discreet, small winding crown. The Ref. 5130 was part of the Breguet Classique collection, a line created to embody the aesthetic and technical principles established by Abraham-Louis Breguet in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It maintains traditional Breguet design elements, including the signature Breguet hands with hollow moon tips and a hand-engraved, silvered gold guilloché dial. The dial features a silvered brushed outer chapter with fine Roman numerals, the Breguet signature at twelve o’clock, and a beautifully hand-engraved guilloché centre. Completing the look is the characteristic set of blued Breguet hands. This ultra-thin watch is powered by the automatic calibre 502, derived from the Frédéric Piguet calibre 71 (P-71), and has been fully serviced by our watchmaker. The watch is paired with one of our evergreen Bulang and Sons straps and fitted with an original 18k gold Breguet pin buckle.
