The vintage Cartier Santos Galbée 1564 we are offering here is in excellent condition. The 29 mm case is razor-sharp and appears unpolished, as does the steel bezel, ensuring that all original lines and angles remain clearly visible. The watch shows some signs of wear, though these are certainly not distracting in real life. Please note that due to the high-resolution photography, certain imperfections may appear more pronounced in the images than they do in person.
Another noteworthy detail is the lightly engraved case back, which is subtle. It is likely that this Cartier Santos was once gifted to commemorate a special occasion, milestone, or remembrance. We have deliberately chosen to keep this Santos Galbée completely original.
The watch features a white dial with a slightly thicker print and larger Roman numerals, indicating that this is the later version of the Santos Galbée 1564. It is fitted with the period correct bracelet, complete with a butterfly, hidden clasp. Remarkably, the integrated Cartier bracelet shows no stretch considering its age. Of course, the iconic blued hands and cabochon crown are present. The Cartier quartz movement has been checked and fitted with a new battery. This beautiful vintage Cartier Santos Galbée 1564 is delivered with a 24-month warranty on the movement.
