The “Reverse Panda” layout pays tribute to vintage Daytona references from the 1960s, including the legendary Paul Newman 6239. Its deep black dial and contrasting subdials echo the aesthetic of one of the most iconic chronographs ever worn, blending history with contemporary precision.
Refined modern update.
The 126500LN introduces slimmer hands and markers, a narrower bezel with a subtle metal rim framing the Cerachrom insert, and enhanced dial finishing. The result is a cleaner, more balanced composition that preserves the Daytona’s classic proportions while elevating its visual sophistication.
Calibre 4131 – a new era of movement.
This latest in-house chronograph calibre offers approximately 72 hours of power reserve and incorporates Rolex’s Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers. Finishing has been elevated with Côtes de Genève motifs, marking a new chapter in Rolex’s technical and aesthetic evolution.
Highly scarce and already iconic.
Even by Rolex standards, steel Daytonas are exceptionally hard to obtain. The “Reverse Panda” — with its black dial and silver counters — is produced in smaller quantities than the white “Panda,” making it a stealth collector’s choice.
