This model ranks among the most desirable and rare perpetual calendars ever produced by the manufacture in Le Brassus – a timepiece that embodies technical brilliance, classical elegance, and exceptional exclusivity in perfect harmony.
The reference 25661BA was produced between 1985 and 1994, a period during which Audemars Piguet perfected the art of the ultra-thin perpetual calendar. In total, only 342 pieces were made, of which merely 244 were crafted in yellow gold – making this reference a true rarity and one of the most significant perpetual calendars of its era.
With a 36 mm case diameter, the watch offers timeless proportions and understated sophistication. The case remains in very good condition, showing only light, age-appropriate signs of wear. Through the sapphire display back, the beautifully finished automatic movement can be admired – featuring Geneva stripes, anglage on the bridges, and a finely engraved gold rotor, showcasing Audemars Piguet’s dedication to craftsmanship and detail.
The dial displays the perfectly balanced layout of a perpetual calendar, with indications for the date, day, month, moon phase, and leap year – a design that combines aesthetic refinement with technical mastery.
Included with the watch are an Extract from the Audemars Piguet Archives (2021), the original instruction manual, the official book on the model, and the original Audemars Piguet gold pin buckle.
