I present to you a truly unique opportunity to acquire a seemingly unused example of this beautiful “Heuer” Monaco Reference CS2111, from the highly sought after 1960’s Re-edition series (not to be confused with the standard production “Tag Heuer” Monaco Reference CW2111).
This reference has the period correct “Heuer” only branding on the dial, case-back, crown, along with its plexiglass crystal, etc. This Re-edition model was only produced quite briefly and is therefore considerably rarer than the more common “Tag Heuer” CW2111.
Incredibly this watch is supplied with its full set of correct “Heuer Classics” boxes and outer sleeve, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet and guarantee card (stamped/dated 12/1999). Most “Heuer Classics” usually have wrong boxes/booklets, some kind of mixed-up set, or at best missing items. This one is 100% correct and complete!
I have carefully inspected this watch with a loupe and found no marks on it whatsoever, with the exception of a very faint mark on the case-back and a small "pin-prick" type mark on the edge of the bezel at around 32 minutes. Most likely these are from handling during entry/exit from a safe.
To the watch clearly exhibits as brand new (unworn) condition, including the tan leather strap (which even matches the inner leather box colour). For this reason and having inspected/listed/sold 100’s of watches in my career as a former dealer, I’ve made careful judgment before listing this watch as “Unworn”.
This is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for any collector of the Heuer Classics range.
