For your consideration is this beautiful Omega Aqua Terra Quartz with the stunning anthracite/teak dial. This is the much more desirable MK I version (the later MK II version sadly suffered a number of downgrades).

This Aqua Terra is considered by Omega aficionados as the last of the real luxury Omega Quartz watches. Here are it’s key features compared to the later downgraded MK II version:

1. Stunning light capturing 3D “sculpted” dial Vs flat simplified printed version of MK II.

2. Calibre 1538 movement with GMT jump had Vs lower spec. Calibre 4564 movement.

3. Stunning polished/brushed applied markers Vs cheaper printed markers on MK II.

4. Applied metallic Omega Ω logo Vs cheaper printed version on MK II.

5. Lumed marker at the 3 O’clock position Vs left blank on MK II.

6. Outer threaded crown tube Vs more fragile inner on MK II.

This full set includes the rarer stunning red Omega Boutique/Gift Edition box set together with its matching card-holder and red Omega cards (warranty stamped/dated 04/2009). Watch is sized for a 17cm wrist (+1 full link & 1 half link, so about 1.5cm extra).

The watch is of course 100% genuine all round and runs perfectly in every way. Being the quartz model it has the advantage of outstanding accuracy (about +/- 5 seconds a month), much longer service intervals (and far cheaper) and will keep running for years, even when not worn.

This really is a beautifully finished and solidly built timepiece. In my opinion they’re one of the best Swiss Quartz luxury watches in recent years: You’ve got a screw down crown, double coated sapphire crystal, new generation screw-type bracelet, 150M water resistance, GMT jump hand, metal movement spacer, blue luminova markers, etc.

Although we received the watch in lovely condition, it has just been professionally valeted, hand polished and lightly refinished to bring it back to as new condition as possible, leaving only a few very small marks here and there.

Due to their rarity and high demand, these are now becoming very sought after amongst Omega enthusiasts and are consequently gaining value every year.
