Description
When Patek Philippe presented the Ellipse at the end of the 1960s, the manufacturer deliberately challenged the conventional shapes of the time. Instead of relying on the usual designs – round or rectangular – they sought proportions based on the golden ratio. The result was a watch whose case shape still stands for perfect harmony today.
The Ref. 3546 is one of the earliest interpretations of this idea and combines avant-garde courage with classic restraint. The silver-colored dial with Roman indices is in very good condition and shows a fine, even patina. Towards the edge of the case, it develops a subtle, slightly brownish hue that gives the dial a special depth and unmistakable character.
The 27x34mm white gold case is in very good condition. The watch has been freshly serviced and is in perfect working order. It is equipped with the Patek Philippe hand-wound caliber 23-300, a flat and finely decorated manufacture movement that stands for precision and the highest level of watchmaking craftsmanship.
The ensemble is rounded off by the original white gold pin buckle from Patek Philippe.
The watch is fully serviced by our workshop and comes with 1 year warranty.
