The earliest Skippers (such as the rare 7754 “Skipperera”) were based on Carrera cases. However, by the 1970s, Heuer began using Autavia-style cases, blending nautical functionality with motorsport ruggedness. Based on the Autavia 73663 case, it features a large, cushion-shaped 42mm steel case in excellent condition, complete with pump pushers and a rotating bezel that adds a rugged, sporty feel. The blue dial features two sub-dials: on the right, the iconic three-color countdown timer; on the left, a minute counter, with a date window positioned at 6 o’clock.
