This vintage Omega Constellation chronometer, produced in 1954, just two years after the line’s debut, is the first model type ever made. It features a 35mm case, partially gold-plated with a steel back and a golden Constellation emblem on the back. Thick lugs suit its design well. The standout feature is its tropical patina dial, once white, now a warm yellowish tone with speckled patina, giving it rich character sought after by collectors. It has arrowhead hour markers, a crosshair, and dauphine hands. Inside is the automatic caliber 354 bumper movement, overhauled in August 2025 and running well. Paired with a Swiss-made black calf leather strap, this watch is in great condition, ideal as a collector’s piece or a dress watch full of history.
