The Rolex Milgauss 116400GV is a cult classic designed for scientists, engineers, and those who walk too close to magnetic fields. This 2020 example comes completely unworn, and includes the full set, making it a top-tier collector’s piece in both condition and completeness.
Powered by the Rolex calibre 3131, the Milgauss is built to withstand magnetic interference up to 1,000 gauss, thanks to a special soft iron inner shield. The black dial is accented with bright orange lightning bolt seconds hand, and framed by the distinctive green sapphire crystal (GV = Glace Verte), exclusive to the Milgauss line.
The polished 40mm Oystersteel case and smooth bezel add to its modern tool-watch appeal, while the Oyster bracelet with Easylink offers robust comfort and versatility.
Fun fact: The green sapphire crystal was a Rolex first — no one else had it at the time, and Rolex never patented it. Why? Because no one else could figure out how to make it anyway.
