This is a very interesting and under-the-radar Explorer II with a white dial.Also known as the Polar dial, this example has rich yellow hour plots, what the Italians term “chicchi di maïs” or “corn kernels” in English. The case is strong with thick, even lugs, and the brushed steel bezel is still in great condition. The showstopper is the glorious patina—such a cool look. The solid-link Oyster 78360 bracelet is in very good condition, with a clasp stamped ‘H’ and ref. 501B end links. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker. We love this heavy and even patina! We are pretty sure one would be convinced by this bad boy in sunlight as well. Get in touch!
