The Calatrava ref. 2450 was produced from 1948 until about 1955 and is one of the largest vintage Patek' Calatrava models in regular production. The 35mm case, made by Emile Vichet for Patek Philippe, features a snap-back case with a “mono bloc” case style. This particular example is crafted in rose gold with a matching rose gold dial—what collectors often refer to as “pink on pink”! The stunning dial features hand-applied faceted indexes, a small running seconds at 6 o’clock, and beautiful dauphine-style hands. And of course, the black enamel “Patek Philippe” signature adds the final touch of class, perfectly complementing the overall aesthetic. This fine Calatrava is fitted with an original Patek' leather strap and an 18k rose PP pin buckle. Additionally, the watch comes with an extract from the archives, which confirms a date of manufacture in 1953 and a sale in 1954. The hand-wound Caliber 12’400 has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
