This is a lovely Cartier Tank Chinoise from the Collection Privée Cartier Paris (CPCP), which showcased iconic pieces from the brand’s rich history and have become very collectible today. This collection, which ran from 1998 to 2008, features vintage-inspired designs and utilises movements made by renowned watchmakers like Jaeger-LeCoultre and Piaget, meticulously finished by Cartier. Notably, this model displays the word 'Paris' beneath 'Cartier' on its dial, a hallmark of the CPCP series. This Tank Chinoise has an 18k rose gold case with a size of 29 x 28 mm (without lugs) and a beautifully open case back providing a view of the manual Cartier movement. The case remains in great condition. It houses a silver guilloché dial with blued Breguet style hands and a blue cabochon crown. The watch is fitted with the pictured leather strap, complete with an 18k rose gold Cartier folding clasp, and the movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
