This is the rarest of the matte dial GMT-Masters and we are delighted to be offering such a beautiful condition example.The watch is fitted with a Mk3 so-called ‘radial’ dial, which gets its name from the fact that the hour markers are positioned more towards the centre of the dial; you can see a big gap between the plots and the minute markers. These dials were made for a short period and were placed in a very specific serial range ,as per this watch.The watch has a strong case and lovely dial has hour plots that have taken on a cream patina that is a great match with the hands. The bezel insert has faded to a washed out blue and raspberry colour. The folded link Oyster bracelet is a reference 7836, has a clasp stamped ‘4 72’ and is fitted with reference 380 endlinks. The watch comes with its original papers that state it was sold in Treviso Italy in 1980 and there is also a booklet and paperwork from the same Italian AD.
