Lange & Söhne Glashütte pocket watch quarter repeater | 18k / 0.750 yellow gold | two backs, two gold inner covers and a beautiful enamel dial with Roman numerals | small second at 6 o'clock | 19-line ALS calibre 43 with diamond endstone | total weight of 118.5 grams | diameter without crown of 49 mm | movement number is 279xx | this Lange was sold on 23 June 1890 to H. Baumeister Magdeburg at a price of 710.60 marks | engraving ‘Heinrich Strauß Magdeburg’ on the inside cover | the initials ‘HS’ on the outer case cover | historical documents are enclosed | archive extract from the sale of the watch from 1890 is also enclosed | very good condition and runs beautifully | enclosed ALS certificate (with the correct movement/casing number 279xx) - historical documents - information from the former owner - Signet ring with initials of the former owner.
