This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, with rare Salmon dial, comes was a full set with box, outerbox, original papers and booklets. We got quite excited about this salmon dial Royal Oak, because it’s about as beautiful as it is rare. Just a few of these Salmon dialed ref. 14790’s appeared on the market recent years. In the first half of the 90-ies the first salmon dials appeared in the Royal Oak line. Audemars Piguet confirmed they never delivered a new 14790 with a salmon dial. The story goes, a few important AP collectors have exceptionally been given the chance, to buy a salmon dial for the 14790 which they already had in their collection.\n\nThe 36mm stainless steel case is in excellent condition, measuring at only 11mm thick. The bracelet is very tight and a work of art in itself, it is the famous integral part of the watch's design and is meticulously crafted.\n\nThe watch case and bracelet features both brushed and polished surfaces, with the alternating finish creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow. The polished edges give the watch a sophisticated and dynamic appearance. Inside the case we find the Audemars Piguet calibre 2225, which was inspected and is running great. Underneath the plexiglass we find the petite-tapisserie dial with slim markers.
